Gerbera Flower Arrangement in Shallow Dish

This arrangement has been made using 3 gerberas in a shallow dish. A fern stem has been bended to give the design an oval-shaped background.

Gerbera Flower Arrangement in Shallow Dish

Plant Materials Needed:

  • 3 Gerberas
  • Fern stem
  • Any green fillers

Other Materials:

  • Shallow Dish
  • Stem-Holder (frog)
  • Accessories - we have used a conch and some birds seated on a rock
  • Ribbon

Directions:

1. Bend the fern stem gently from the center and fix it's ends to the back of the stem-holder.

2. Trim the stems of gerberas keeping one of the flowers longer than the other two which need to be kept of the same length. The longest bloom needs to be of a slightly lesser height than the bended fern stem.

3. Fix the 3 gerberas in front of the fern stem.

4. Fill the stem-holder with fillers (all trimmed to be of a height lesser than the shorter gerberas) in a way that the gerberas seem to be 'growing out' from the thick green fillers.

5. Tie a ribbon to the base of the stem-holder hiding away the stem-holder completely.

6. Pour water in the dish and place your accessories half-immersed in water.
